Today I was discussing originality and being true to oneself, as well as being truthful with others. I find this to be a diminishing quality among people today. There is so much pressure to keep up with the Joneses that we will do anything to be admired and soar to the top. How many of us lie, cheat, or steal to be seen in a certain light, to be deemed the one to aspire to be like? I find this to be a very common practice, especially in the creative and corporate world. We want success right now, so out of convenience, pressure and necessity, we do things that go against our moral compass. We do things that the public would deem despicable if they knew, and we do it all to make ourselves feel worthy or for a dollar.

Well I am here to tell you that you are worthy. You, deep down at heart truly are admirable. If this is you, its not too late to turn things around, to face the music and be original and who God called you to be. He called you to be great, and you don’t have to look anywhere else to find greatness because he placed it inside of you. You are full of talent, so embrace who you are, remove this pressure you have put on yourself to have fast success and let go! You have nothing to fear, God doesn’t give you fear. Have full trust in yourself and even greater trust in the Lord. The real truth is his truth. Watch how things turn around for you once you instill integrity into everything that you do. The more integrity you have, the more people will be drawn to you.
