Don't Make These Mistakes When Hiring A Corporate Catering Company

1st Sep 2015

Post Exchange Catering offers excellent corporate catering to Atlanta and surrounding areas. We have a lot of our customers come to us for the first time after having bad experiences with other catering companies. There are a lot of mistakes you can make when you're hiring a corporate caterer and we want to shed some light on those so you won't make those same mistakes.

1. One of the biggest mistakes we see occur is not correctly estimating the amount of food you need to provide your guests. It does not look good to make your guests leave hungry. On the other hand, it also looks awful to have so much food that everyone is entirely too full. Plan correctly by talking to your caterer. They're called professionals for a reason!

2. We also see people make the mistake of not knowing their audience. To your guests, not having menu items that they can eat makes you look insensitive. Anytime you're dealing with a group of people, it's important that you get an idea of any dietary restrictions they may have. Talk to you caterer about the makeup of your group so that you can be on target with the menu.

3. We also see a lot of people ignore agendas and not communicate the timeline to their caterer. Never serve food late. It's important to decide how much time you're going to need and how many people you're going to need to serve ahead of time. Not sure when your group will break for lunch? Then it's not a good idea to serve hot food.
