QUESTIONS?
Everything you need to know about planning an event with Post Exchange Catering.
Good to know.
What is your minimum order size?
Our minimum order is at least $300 in food sales before delivery fee and taxes. That usually means 15–20 people. We also routinely handle events for 500+ guests and everything in between.
How far in advance do I need to place an order?
We can usually take smaller orders with as little as 24 hours’ notice, but it is not guaranteed. Giving us 48–72 hours helps ensure ingredients and staff are ready. For larger events, please provide at least two weeks’ notice.
What types of events do you cater for?
We cater corporate events, office meals, executive meetings, healthcare facilities, funeral receptions, continuing education events, church functions, networking mixers, open houses, holiday parties, grand openings, university events, and private events. We do not cater weddings or mitzvahs, and we do not offer full-scale event planning or décor.
Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Absolutely. Let us know as early as possible. We offer options for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other food allergies. We identify applicable items and allergens in proposals, and can box and label special requests individually.
Can we customize the menu?
Yes absolutely! Our pre-built packages include a complete meal, but we can substitute items or build a custom menu for your group. We cook in bulk, so the group generally shares the same assortment while we accommodate dietary restrictions and special requests.
Do you provide full-service catering or drop-off only?
We offer fully set-up drop-off buffets, individually boxed meals, staffed events, recurring programs, and customer pickup. Food is prepared fresh each day and delivered ready to serve.
What areas do you serve around Atlanta?
We serve Greater Atlanta and beyond, generally within about an hour’s drive from our kitchen near I-85 and I-285. This includes Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell, Alpharetta, Marietta, Woodstock, Norcross, Duluth, Buford, Lawrenceville, McDonough, and more.
How is pricing structured?
Most packages are priced per person and can be ordered for your exact headcount. Some items, such as a tray of lasagna, are priced per tray. À la carte items can be added. Delivery fees depend on distance; staffed events and rentals include their associated costs and service fees.
How much does corporate catering cost?
Most of our packages are priced per person, so you pay for your exact headcount rather than a fixed tray size. The minimum order is $300 in food before delivery fee and taxes — usually 15–20 people. Boxed meals and drop-off buffets are the most economical; staffed events add servers, rentals and a service fee. Delivery fees depend on distance. Current per-person prices are listed on each package in our online ordering.
Is a drop-off buffet or boxed meals better for a meeting?
Drop-off buffets suit groups that eat together and want variety — food arrives arranged, hot and ready with serving pieces. Individually boxed meals suit trainings, working sessions and spread-out teams, with each meal labeled and any special dietary requests specified.
What is your cancellation or change policy?
Please give as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. For larger events requiring a deposit, the contract allows us to retain the deposit for preparations made and food costs incurred.
Do you provide rentals and extras?
Yes, we can provide tables, chairs, linens, china plates, glassware, silverware, and linen napkins. Ask us about anything else you need. We do not provide floral arrangements, event décor, or event design.
Can you provide alcohol?
We do not hold an alcohol license and cannot procure alcoholic beverages. However, we partner with two bartending services, Raising The Bar and The Rolling Pour, that can provide alcohol service for you. Please let us know and we'll help coordinate.
Good food makes a difference.
Tell us about your next meeting or event. We’ll take care of the details.
